Twilightpelt bounded silently through the undergrowth. She sat in the clearing where the medicine cats met before moving on to the Moonwillow. She was the first to arrive. It was quiet as the moonlight washed over the clearing, bleaching the ivy-green leaves white.

Dragonmoon limped into the clearing, tired from her journey. She looked to Twilightpelt and smiled at the she-cat, limping over to sit beside her. "Hello, friend, all is well?" she purred, her pale green eyes reflecting the moonlight.

"Not exactly. We had some trouble with those kittypets. Oh wait, you probably know about that as Lilystar came to help," she mewed.

"Yes, we're working on it," she mewed, flashing a dazzling smile. Her nose suddenly twitched in the direction of a bush. She silently and swiftly caught the mouse, dispatching it quickly. "Share?" she asked politely to the other medicine cat.

"Not really," mewed Twilightpelt with a shrug. "We had some trouble with kittypets, but RiverClan helped us out there," she purred.

The injured she-cat nodded, "She was so excited when I said she could, and when Lilystar agreed. You should of seen the look in her eyes! She'll go far, that one, I swear it." Dragonmoon usually wasn't one for such strong praise, but she was so proud of the little kit.

Twilightpelt purred congratulations for her. She loved young cats, and by what Dragonmoon said, she sounded like she'd make a great apprentice.

The RiverClan Medicine Cat curled her tail around her paws, purring softly. She turned her pale green gaze skyward, watching the stars twinkle at them from above.
