OOC-I know, the title doesn't make much sense, but I'm talking about the mysteries of StarClan when I say mysteries.
Starkit followed her mentor up the gentle incline towards the clearing where the Moonwillow lay twinkling. A lithe small shape came up next to the two cats. "Hello?" asked Twilightpelt politely, but curiously. "Hi Twilightpelt! I'm going to be a medicine cat apprentice!" blurted out Starkit in a purr. She was about to enter a whole other chapter in her life. She would learn the mysteries of StarClan, and she would be able to help in ways other than just with teeth and claws. "Congratulations," purred the she-cat. Of course, Dragonmoon had already told her at the last gathering.

OOC: Alrighty.
IC: Dragonmoon limped ahead of her apprentice, the kit had finally understood the concept of slowing down for her crippled mentor. The she-cat dipped her head to Twilightpelt, "I told you she was eager." she purred, her tail curling around the kit momentarily.

Starkit purred happily. She wasn't embarrassed about becoming a medicine cat anymore, she was excited and proud. Twilightpelt chuckled at the kit's excitement. "Well, feel free to take some herbs from the Herb Bush on your way back. I know you'll need some catmint in leaf-bare," she offered.

"Thank you, Twilightpelt." mewed Dragonmoon, looking a bit distracted. Her tail tip flicked anxiously, her herb stores were running low and most of the herbs in RiverClan territory had been killed off by the snow or covered up.

Starkit looked up the hill towards the Moonwillow. "Can we go now?" she whined with a smile, looking up at her soon-to-be mentor.

The she-cat's pale green orbs flicked to the kit and she smiled, "Of course." she answered, leading the kit towards the massive, age-old willow.

"Yes! Bye Twilightpelt," she purred happily as they headed towards the willow. She dashed ahead of her mentor and bolted into the clearing. She stopped in her tracks at the sight of the Moonwillow glistening and sparkling, moolight dancing on it's vines. She took slow, deep breaths and waited for her mentor to catch up.

Dragonmoon chuckled at her apprentice's enthusiasm, waving her tail in farewell to her LeafClan friend. She stopped beside the young kit, "Beautiful, isn't it?"

"Sit beside the Moonwillow." Dragonmoon said, sitting beside it herself. The glow from the willow turned her silver grey fur to silvery white, the fiery red around her muzzle seeming to sparkle and the white, moon patch seemed to glow.

Starkit took a dep breath and plunged her nose towards the willow. Her nose bounced back, but it felt like it shimmered when it touched the cold, yet at the same time, warm, willow tree. She set it down again, gently. She smelled stars, wind, air, and....other cats! StarClan, perhaps? She closed her eyes and settled down, feeling the first stirrings of unease.

"Just relax." the Medicine Cat purred quietly, watching the kit press her nose to the ancient Willow. The she-cat knew the flood of sensations that came with the first meeting with StarClan and could already see the unease settling on the young she-cat.

She started taking slow, deep breaths. "Ok, I'm relaxed," she mewed quietly. She wanted to meet StarClan and get her name.

"Now, just close your eyes and try to sleep. StarClan will do the rest." whiskered Dragonmoon, looking up at the stars above them.

"Ok" she whispered in a small voice and gently pressed her delicate nose to the willow. Immediately, she felt a brisk wind pick up around her and it sped up, faster, and faster. Then it stopped. She wondered if she'd done something wrong and started to panic. Then her eyes snapped open. She was at SixRocks and tons of glittering, shimmering figures were standing in the clearing. She looked around for Dragonmoon.
OOC-If you want to play some temporary StarClanners, feel free.

The grey she-cat was missing from the glittering clearing, not even in the throng of cats surrounding the soon-to-be apprentice. A ginger tom stepped forward, his shinning eyes set on Starkit, smiling warmly at her startled expression.
OOC: Ok, but I have no idea how these work X3;

OOC-I think they just do the same thing as Leader's would do for apprentice ceremony, except they would mention different virtues, like "Do you promise to stay seperate from clan rivalries and care for your clan with all your power?" stuff like that.
The trembling black kit looked up at the red tom. His warm smile calmed her and she gazed steadily back at him. But where was Dragonmoon?
