Gypsy hissed quietly, "I'm not going to be able to fit through that crack!" her tail flicked to her swollen stomach.

OOC-yush, they already are mates
Mistheart studied the crack and the size of Gypsy, she was right. She tried to remember if there was another entrance to their cave.

OOC~k, since it's pretty big, I was thinking they could both sleep in Coal's den. ^^ IC~ "Mistheart, please help Leaftear get settled in the den across from the freshkill den, with a nice mouse. There's some moss there for a nest too. I'll bring her around the long way through the Bramble Dens," he meowed to his mate, inclining his ears toward Gypsy. He started across the clearing toward the bramble dens. "By the way, I didn't catch your name," he meowed as they padded along towards the second entrance. OOC~He means the den just south of the main chamber if you're looking at the map.

A hiss slid from the she-cat's throat at the way Coal said her. She followed him, her tail lashing as she answered, "Gypsy."

"Sure," she mewed, as she began leading the way to the right den. When she got in, she pushed some moss together into a nest. She turned around, looking for Leaftear.

Coal nodded. Then there was some awkward silence until they got to the carefully woven brambles. He slipped through the entrance and dragged a chunk of moss, nearly enough for a nest, away from a large hole in the ground. "Through there," he meowed, and stepped back allowing Gypsy to go first.

"Thank you." she growled, tail still flicking. She stepped forward, into the tunnel and continued on.

Coal followed her through the tunnel. A quiet purr rumbled in his throat as he passed Mistheart in the main chamber. He then took the lead and brought Gypsy to the place where they stored their freshkill. A couple of fresh mice, and a shrew lay together in a pile. "Go ahead and pick out something from the pile, then we can go back and and make a nest for you," he meowed. He would come back later and get something for he and his mate from the unseen store of prey, that was buried close to the surface on the far side of the small den.

Gypsy dipped her head thankfully, grabbing the shrew.

"Thank you, Mistheart. I appreciate you and Coal letting me stay." Leaftear meowed. She fixed the moss into a comfortable nest and sat down, tearing hungrily into it.

OOC~She's tearing hungrily into her nest? IC~When Gypsy was ready, Coal led her back through the main chamber. Though the dens were large enough for multiple cats, he decided to give the she-cat some privacy, and led her on to another one of the large dens. He collected some moss from the pile in the corner of the den, and shaped it into a nest in the middle of the den. "Well, make yourself at home. If you need me or Mistheart, our den is through the tunnel just across from this one," he meowed.

The tortie nodded, settling down in the nest and putting her meal down. Her violet eyes flicked around the cavern with mild curiosity.

Mistheart simply purred in agreement and began heading for she and Coal's den across the cave.
OOC-bad post, sorry. >.<

Coal padded through the tunnel and back to the freshkill den to get a rabbit for he and Mistheart to share. Then he went back to their den to find her there, waiting for him. "I brought a rabbit for us to share," he voiced his thoughts, setting the prey near their nest.

As her stomach growled, Gypsy quickly started eating the shrew. Once she was done, she began to lick her stomach, eyes half closed. The she-cat jolted as she felt something kick in her stomach.

"Thanks," she purred, taking a dainty bite of the rabbit. "I'm not all the hungry, though," she mewed, casting a warm gaze towards her mate.

"Well, eat what you want, and maybe you can eat whatever's left in a little while if you're hungrier," he meowed, and took a few bites of the prey. The light that had been shining through a tiny crack above them was dimming as the sun set. Leafbare days were too short. He sighed contentedly. At least that meant he could soon curl up in his warm nest, and get some well-needed rest.
