Okay, so I've got this plot idea. It's a bit like with Tigerclaw's treachery in the book, but....oh well.
If you feel like critisizing, do it kindly.
Okay, here goes!
So this one character, his name is Sharpheart, deputy of LeafClan. He wants power-he's greedy for power. Sharpheart plots to overthrow his leader by leading her to a twoleg home where the twolegs capture Berrystar. Berrystar's scared and angry. She attempts to escape from her twolegs. It takes her a few times, but she eventually gets out. Then she finds her way back to LeafClan. She meets some rouges along the way who help her out.
Meanwhile, at LeafClan, Sharpheart is reigning. He told everyone Berrystar was hunting too close to the Thunderpath on the edge of their territory........ He was made leader after that, gaining the name of Sharpstar. He doesn't get the full nine lives because of Sharpheart's treachery. He was only made leader because he kept up a good charade of being kind to the kits and apprentice's, and acting fair and respectful of the warriors. He makes "friends" in the clan. They're not so much friends, as allies. They all have the same idea as him, that Berrystar wasn't doing her job. He thinks if at any time, anything comes to a fight, that these cats will side with him. Some will, some won't. (most will)
Soon, Berrystar gets to RiverClan territory. She's so relieved, and she spills everything to Lilystar. Lilystar then sends a patrol out to escort Berrystar back, and to help if it comes to a fight.
When Berrystar shows up, Sharpstar panics and tries to leave, but the RiverClan patrol catches him. A hunting patrol finds the cats while they've cornered Sharpstar. Unfortunately, they're Sharpstar's "friends". They leap into action at Sharpstar's aid. Berrystar and Sharpstar go into battle and Berrystar wins over Sharpstar who is going to starclan (haha).
Berrystar assumes the throne, thanks Lilystar, and they all live happily ever after....except for Sharpstar, aww.
So, tell me what you think. It's probably really confusing, so tell me if I didn't explain something right.

hm....Maybe Sharpstar could start fights with some of the other Clans somehow? or make allies of them or...somethin? :/
